Your dog’s nutritional requirements will vary according to age, breed, environment and activity levels.

Adult Dogs. Feed adult dogs once per day or divide equal portions and feed twice per day. When switching to Pinnacle® dog food, gradually increase the amount of Pinnacle® dog food while decreasing the previous food over a five day period.

Puppies. Start allowing puppies access to Pinnacle® dog food about 3 weeks before weaning. The food can be moistened to help consumption. After weaning, feed the puppy 3 to 4 times per day for the first 2 months, and then from 2 to 3 times per day until reaching adult size, and then 1 to 2 times per day. Expect to feed 11/2 to 2 times the adult feeding recommendation during the puppy’s growing phase, adjust the daily amount fed so the puppy maintains a good body condition.

Pregnant Females. During pregnancy, increase the feeding amount during the last 1/3 of pregnancy to 11/2 times the amount recommended as shown for the adult. Avoid excessive overfeeding, maintaining a good body condition, while preparing for whelp and nursing.

Lactating Females. A nursing female can expect to need 2 to 3 times as much food as recommended in the adult feeding guideline. Adjust the extra food given by the number of puppies and length of nursing. Try to maintain a good body condition, however with large numbers of puppies, expect to have some loss in body fat for milk production.

GRAIN FREE SALMON & POTATO DOG FOOD

Many pet parents are choosing to serve grain free diets due to concerns about potential ingredient sensitivities. Salmon, from the Pacific Northwest, is the first ingredient in this recipe. And unlike others, we don’t cut corners by adding less expensive meat proteins so you can trust you are serving high quality proteins that your dog deserves. Some unique ingredients include pumpkin that is very high in carotenoids and antioxidant nutrients which help protect your dog from the inside out. Also, made with organic quinoa seed that contains all nine essential amino acids that are required building blocks for muscle development.

Availble in 4, 12 and 24 lb. bags.
